Auctioneers must check in their bidders for a live auction.

Tip: If you're struggling to find an invoice for their live sale its most likely because you did not check the customer in and just entered their bid card number in while clerking

Go to Auction Day and select Check In

You have multiple ways to check customers in.

How to Use the Bidder Check In Page

This page allows you to check in bidders by finding existing customers, importing them from a previous auction, or creating new customers.

At the top of the page, select one of the three options:

  • Find Existing Customer – Search for a customer already in your system.

  • Add From Previous Auction – Pull bidder information from a past auction.

  • Create New Customer – Enter information for a brand-new bidder.

How to Check In All Permanent Bid Card Numbers

This feature is especially useful for auctioneers who frequently work with permanent bid card numbers. Often, returning bidders will enter the venue without stopping at the check-in booth. Using this process ensures those bidders are still properly checked in.

Step 1: Check the Permanent Bidders Only box.
Step 2: Click into the Search bar — this will populate a list of all permanent bidders.
Step 3: Click Check In All to check in everyone listed.
