User Roles and Permissions Explained

Understand the purpose and limitations of each user role in AF360.

AF360 offers granular role-based access. Here’s what each role allows:

  • Owner – Full access, including adding/removing other owners

  • Administrator – Full system access, except owner changes

  • Manager – Full access, no user/role edits

  • Cataloging – Full cataloging access, including seller expenses

  • Limited Cataloging – Cataloging access, excluding accounting sections

  • Check In – Check in customers, access customers and mailing lists

  • Clerking – Clerk sales (pre-cataloged and on-the-fly)

  • Settlement > Add Receipt – Settle bidders by adding receipts

  • Settlement > Pay Customer – Settle sellers by adding payments

Roles also determine auction-level access and permissions.
