Updated over 3 months ago

This section explains how to use a .csv file to mass upload lots to Auction Flex 360, and how to properly save images to mass import them to your desired location.

Things to Consider

  • You must use a .csv file for the Lot import to work

  • Lots must be in Auction Flex 360 before you mass upload images

Mass Importing Lots

Locate or Create Your .csv File

If you need a template, go to:
Lots > Import Lots > CSV Template

Add Information Into .csv File

Seller Code can be customized and/or found by going to:
Auction Flex 360 > Customers > Customer List > Customer Code

This will attach the proper seller to each lot upon upload.

Import File Into Auction Flex 360

Go to:
Lots > Import Lots > Choose File

Field Mapping: Map Your Lots

This is where Auction Flex 360 locates what columns you have in your Excel file (File Header), and you need to match your column titles with the pre-filled headers in Auction Flex 360 (DB Column).

Import Options

You can have Auction Flex 360 start the import from a specific row or overwrite existing data with imported data.

If there are no lots in the system, just click Import.

Import Summary

You will get a report on how many rows were uploaded and can review any errors during the process.

Your lots should now be shown in the Lots section!

Mass Importing Images

Things to Consider

  • You must save your images a certain way

  • If your images are named after the lot number they are associated with, the software will apply those images to the correct lot

Example:
If you have four images for lot #1, name them:
1-1, 1-2, 1-3, 1-4
Images for lot #2 would be:
2-1, 2-2, 2-3, 2-4

Other acceptable formats include:

  • 1.1

  • 1-1

  • 1_1

Lot Image Import

Select Lot Images

Locate Your Images

Tip: Click on your first image, then press Ctrl + A to select them all.

Upload Images

You will receive a “Complete” status when uploaded.

Congratulations! Your mass import is now complete!
