The sale manager is used to prepare your lots for auction, setting the order in which they appear, the stagger between lots, and more.
To get to the Sale Manager, click Sale Manager in the upper right corner.
The Sale Manager automatically orders all lots by lot number but allows you to quickly and easily rearrange them as detailed below in “Selecting Lots”.
In the upper right corner are the lot number control buttons.
Renumber Lots by Order: changes all lot numbers to be sequential, following the order you have set them in.
Order by Lot Number: resets all changes to the order, returning the lots to ordered by lot number.
Set Stagger: allows you to set the stagger between lots, the stagger is the amount of time between sequential lots becoming available for bidding.
Save: saves your changes.
Selecting Lots
You can click and drag singular lots to wherever you want them in the lot order, however you can also select multiple lots by clicking the box in the upper left corner of the lot card. The box will only appear when you mouse over the lot card.
The numbered order of the selected lots will populate in the box after you click it.
Once selected, the Selection Menu will appear at the bottom of the page.
Selected: shows the number of lots currently selected.
Send to Front: sends all selected lots (in the numbered order they were clicked in) to the front of the lot line.
Send to Back: sends all selected lots (in the numbered order they were clicked in) to the back of the lot line.
Send to Position: sends all selected lots (in the numbered order they were clicked in) to a specific position within the lot line as shown below.
Group: creates a named group that collects all selected lots.
X: deselects all selected lots.
Send to Position
To send selected lots to a specific position, click Send to Position on the selection menu.
2. The Set Sale Order Position pop up will appear with a dynamic information section showing the maximum and minimum bounds of your given lots.
3. Type a number between those bounds in the Enter Sale Order text box and click Save. Alternatively, you can shift your numbers +/- 1, 5, or 10 degrees by clicking on the respectively numbered boxes.
Group
To create lot groups, click Group on the selection menu.
2. The Set the Group ID popup will appear. Type a 4 character alphanumeric ID for the group into the Enter Group ID text box and click Save.
3. The option to Ungroup will then appear on the selection menu. Clicking it will ungroup all lots within the selected group.
Set Stagger
The stagger is how much time (in seconds) between lots opening on an auction. This is so an auction does not close all at once, instead allowing each lot to effectively have its moment in focus as lots close and are removed from the auction.
To set the stagger, click Set Stagger in the upper right of the page.
2. The Set stagger for this auction popup will open, enter the stagger (in seconds) you want into the Enter Stagger text box and click Save.
