The Media Gallery is the “default” tool for the Workspace and is the control center for cataloging by image; load up your media assets, click and drag them where they need to go, and let our AI do the heavy lifting for you.
To get to the Media Gallery if you are on another tool, click Media Gallery in the upper right corner of the page.
The Media Gallery is broken up into three adjustable columns:
Lot List: This shows all current lots. You can learn more about it here: Using the Lots List & Selection Menu
Media Gallery: This is where media and assets are housed.
Details: When a lot is selected, the details column is where information is input. You can learn more about it here: Using the Details Column
Further, when a lot is selected, the Selection Menu will appear. You can learn about it as part of the Lots List here: Using the Lots List & Selection Menu
Media Gallery Column
Assets, or “Media”, are any images, files, or links that help better showcase your lot.
Uploading Media
Adding assets is a breeze with our new click and drag functionality. Simply:
click and drag the image or file you would like to add until it is hovering over the media gallery.
Release the mouse when the phrase “Drag and drop files here” becomes visible.
Alternatively, you can use the Upload function:
Click the Upload button.
2. Select the file you want to upload and click Open.
The file is now uploaded.
Creating Lots from Media
Select the media you would like to use.
Note: The order that you select the images in is the order they will appear in on HiBid on their respective lot pages, per the numbers found in the upper right corner of the selected images.
2. Next, click Create Lot from Selected Media.
3. A new lot will be made in the Lots List and will be automatically selected.
Note: By default, the Media Gallery Column has the “Unassigned” filter on. Assets made from lots will not appear unless you change your filter settings to “All” or “Show Assigned”.
The lot is now created; you can now update its information in the Details Column, as shown here: Using the Details Column
