Featured Auctions is HiBid's advertising event for sellers: an auction for a promotional "Featured" spot, giving your auction extra visibility for a week. All spot types below are part of the same weekly auction.
Spot Types
In-state spots (3 per state) — sellers based in that state.
Guest spots (3 per state) — out-of-state sellers.
HiBid spots (3 total) — site-wide, covering all of HiBid.
Featured lot — a single lot gets featured placement.
Custom emails (3/week) — sent Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, each featuring one auction of the seller's choice.
How to Bid
Go to featured.hibid.com.
Register if you haven't already — same as any other HiBid auction.
Choose the spot you want and enter your maximum bid.
Bidding closes every Monday at 12 PM CT — if you win, your spot goes live the following week.
Set your maximum bid, and HiBid's system bids on your behalf — you're only charged up to what it takes to win.
What You Get
Depending on the spot you win: placement on the HiBid homepage, a state page, or category search results; a featured lot; or inclusion in one of the three weekly custom emails.
